Marcus'S Story

Words can’t express how highly I recommend Jabbermouths Therapy and Jennifer Buck. Jenn has been an answer to my prayers! I first met Jenn 7 years ago when she evaluated my son for his severe apraxia of speech and motor speech issues related to his diagnosis of Autism. Before Jenn, years of speech therapy didn’t help my son. From the first meeting, I could immediately tell that Jenn would be different from all the previous Speech Therapists we had encountered. My son’s very aggressive behavior did not scare Jenn, and she was consistent in enforcing ABA principles.

Jenn designed a home program for my son that I was able to implement on my own since weekly therapy sessions were not an option for our family due to our location. She kept our program running by reviewing video recorded clips of us working at home, which she would reassess his skills and provide regular updates to the program. Years later we were lucky enough to have Jenn nearby, and we decided to have two home therapy sessions a week. Having her in person for a few years was amazing to watch my son grow and change. Unfortunately, our family had to relocate away from Jenn, but we didn’t lose her! Now my son has therapy sessions through videoconferencing. He loves having his time alone to work with Jenn, and I am always amazed at his participation. In addition to my son’s treatment, Jenn also consults with his other therapists and teachers when she comes to AZ for her quarterly visits. Jenn is easy to work with and cares greatly for her clients. With her help, my non-verbal son now speaks clearer each day. I am extremely grateful for her guidance, expertise, and hard work.
